In pot limit Poker, no bet or raise that exceeds the
amount in the pot can be made. For example, if the ante’s
total £5, the first bettor can only raise £5.
The next player may then call the £5 (making a
pot of £15 and so on.
In this way, it is possible for the contents of the
pot to rise swiftly and steeply, and after several rounds
of betting, the chance of very large pots is often high.
